Investigations into the death from overdose of a young Ecuadorian woman, found lifeless on 11 April in a house in Fontivegge, in Perugia, led to two arrests. They are a man and a woman, both around 40 years old, held responsible for drug dealing and one of them also for aggravated sexual violence and death as a result of another crime.

That same morning the agents of the Flying Squad had ascertained the presence in the house of four people: the two suspects today and another couple of friends of the victim. Thanks to the examination of mobile phones and surveillance cameras, the evening before his death was reconstructed. The girl had drunk alcohol in another apartment with some compatriots and shortly before one she had moved to the other house where she consumed cocaine and heroin provided by the owner of the house. At night, taking advantage of her unconscious state, the suspect abused her forcing her to have oral intercourse and also taking photographs of her.

The death then occurred around 10 the following morning.
