Investigations are continuing to shed light on the case of the two hunters who died within 24 hours of each other in Trentino .

One - Massimiliano Lucietti, 24 - was killed. The investigators, according to what has been leaked, exclude suicide because the examination of the body of the young hunter has shown that the entry hole of the bullet that fatally wounded him is on the back of the head. The shot, fired from a distance of at least half a meter - but it could be even greater - then went out from the neck.

The second, Maurizio Gionta, 59, the man who found Lucietti's body giving the alarm, could instead have taken his own life in the following hours, shooting himself with a rifle.

The Prosecutor's Office - which is proceeding for manslaughter against unknown persons - has ordered autopsies and also ballistic reports and tests on weapons to understand if the two deaths are connected.

Gionta had been heard as a person informed on the facts but was not investigated and there were no suspects about him.

Before taking his own life , the 59-year-old allegedly left a note , in which he asked not to be blamed for the death of the 24-year-old.
