The investigation into the death of a 24-year-old hunter, Massimiliano Lucietti , found lifeless - perhaps shot dead - in an orchard in Celledizzo, a hamlet of Peio, in Trentino , must deal with another, sudden tragedy.

The man who found the young man's body, a 59-year-old, also a hunter, allegedly killed himself by shooting himself with a rifle.

It was found during searches by carabinieri, volunteer firefighters and mountain rescue in the woods above Celledizzo, in a different area from where Lucietti was found dead.

The military will now have to determine whether there is a link between the two deaths.

To try to put the pieces of the puzzle together, the prosecutor has ordered autopsies, but will also be carried out expert reports on weapons and shells.

The testimonies of the relatives and friends of the two men could also be decisive.
