These are the requests of the Arezzo Public Prosecutor's Office for the two fixers of Sardinian origins in the trial on the collapse of Geovision, a packaging company with a factory in Badia al Pino. The prosecution assumes the criminal association aimed at money laundering, bankruptcy, tax crimes.
According to the accusations, the two defendants would have diverted large sums from Geovision's assets for different corporate purposes: to climb the Cantarelli men's clothing company, which had not yet gone bankrupt at the time of the disputed facts, and to form a consortium for Arezzo football. , a plan that vanished in January 2016 when Mureddu's name began to appear in the newspapers.
The prosecutor also asked for 4 years for Carboni's wife and 2 years and 6 months for a fourth accused, Giuliano Michelucci. The sentence is expected on January 18, 2022, the date on which the trial was adjourned for replies and the council chamber.
THE MEETING WITH WOODS - Mureddu is an entrepreneur from Fonni residing in Rignano sull'Arno (Florence): his relations with Carboni have also emerged in the history of Banca Etruria, a story completely different from that of Geovision. According to reconstructions, Mureddu himself presented to Carboni Pierluigi Boschi, father of the former minister Maria Elena, who was looking for a general manager for the bank while he was vice president.
Among the other episodes retraced in the courtroom in the Geovision trial there is in fact the meeting in July 2014 in Carboni's office in Rome, in via Ludovisi (rent paid by Geovision) with the then director of Banca Etruria Boschi in which he spoke names to replace the general manager Luca Bronchi, who had just been dismissed.
