Covid, it's not over: Rt and incidence rise, but hospitalizations are still decreasing

The incidence and Rt index in Italy date back. According to the data of the weekly monitoring by ISS and the Ministry of Health, the transmissibility index is at 0.83, against 0.75 last Friday. The weekly incidence is instead of 510 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants compared to 433 a week ago.
The most worrying situation in Umbria, where the incidence is almost double compared to the national one, with 993.4 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. Followed by Calabria with 780.7, Marche with 752 and Bolzano with 723. In Sardinia the incidence is 602, higher than the national average.
On the other hand, the occupancy of beds continues to decrease both in intensive care (5.5% occupied, compared to 6.6% a week ago) and in medical areas (12.9% against 14.7% of 3 March).
No Region exceeds the 10% alert threshold for the employment of Covid patients in intensive care. Last week only Sardinia exceeded the threshold (it was 12.7%). On the other hand, the number of Regions that exceed the alert threshold of 15% for the occupation of ordinary departments is stable compared to 7 days ago. There are ten: Abruzzo (18.4%); Basilicata (24.4%); Calabria (28.7%); Lazio (16.2%); Liguria (15.1%); Marche (16.6%); Puglia (18.6%); Sardinia (19.5%); Sicily (23.1%); Umbria (21.5%).
The percentage of cases detected through tracing is increasing (from 16 to 17%) and of those detected through the appearance of symptoms (from 35 to 37%), while that of cases diagnosed through screening activities decreases (from 49 to 46%) .
