Corona towards a new trial: «El Shaarawy, Casale and Zalewski defamed»
The prosecutor closes the investigation into the statements made to Striscia la Notizia about the three footballers, "brought into question for football betting". The notice also concerns Antonio Ricci and Valerio Staffelli of the satirical news program

The Milan Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigation against Fabrizio Corona for aggravated defamation after the complaints presented by Roma striker Stephan El Shaarawy , by Nicolò Casale , Lazio defender, and by Nicola Zalewski , Giallorossi full-back, all three arrested dance from the former photographic agent in the betting affair in the world of football.
On the basis of the complaints presented, in particular, by El Shaarawy and Casale, whose names the former photographic agent had given to the microphones of Striscia la Notizia , they were registered for aggravated defamation in the press, in the investigation of the prosecutor Pasquale Addesso , also the director of the satirical news Antonio Ricci and the correspondent Valerio Staffelli.
The notice of conclusion of the investigation, also signed by the prosecutor Marcello Viola and notified today, therefore also concerns Ricci and Staffelli, as well as Luca Arnau of the online newspaper Dillinger, in which the former king of the paparazzi has named several names of footballers involved, according to him, in the alleged scandal, including those of Zaniolo, Tonali and Fagioli, investigated by the Turin Prosecutor's Office.
After the closure of the Milanese defamation investigation, the suspects, including Corona, could be directly summoned to court.
«When it comes to Corona, trials travel like a red arrow : four months to finish the investigations! We will see the documents and then we will defend ourselves to the maximum. We have the strength and the elements to do it. As always", commented Ivano Chiesa , Corona's lawyer.
