The trial of the four people indicted following the incident that occurred during the recording of an episode of “Ciao Darwin” following which a 54-year-old was paralyzed will open on 20 April. At the bar, among others, two representatives of the Rti company, producer of the program that was broadcast on Canale 5.
It was April 2019 when Gabriele Marchetti, one of the competitors, fell during the “Genodrome” course in which you have to overcome a long line of rollers avoiding falling into the pool below.
The crimes charged to the suspects, for various reasons, range from very serious negligent injuries to the violation of a series of labor regulations. In practice, they would not have implemented the "necessary" measures to prevent and protect competitors. Furthermore, the course would have been designed without taking into account the consequences that could have arisen due to the fall of a competitor.
