Accident this morning in Turin, during the Motor Show. A Lancia Delta rally, for reasons yet to be ascertained, ended up in the crowd that was behind the barriers in Piazza San Carlo , at the height of Via San Teresa, in the very center of the Piedmontese city.

A tragedy that was fortunately only narrowly avoided, as 12 people were injured, all slightly . Most were green codes, while a woman with a yellow code, with a suspected broken leg, was taken to the Mauriziano hospital. The others were treated on site.

The local police are investigating the incident and have started investigations with the driver of the vehicle and those responsible for organizing the event. According to an initial reconstruction, the driver of the Lancia Delta made a wrong maneuver , for reasons yet to be ascertained, leaving the established path and thus ending up on the people who were watching this morning's parade from behind the barriers. Luckily he was proceeding at a low speed. The rescue and intervention of the local police in Piazza San Carlo were immediate. Two teams from the Croce Verde of Turin and the Croce Rossa of Moncalieri were on site.
