Tragedy struck shortly after 7 a.m. on Sunday morning just outside Bergamo.

A horrific traffic accident involving two cars and a van occurred on the southern ring road of Bergamo, near Stezzano. Three people have died.

The victims are three men aged 23, 62, and 64. Other people were injured and taken to the hospital.

Firefighters, first responders, and medical personnel were on the scene. Two of the victims reportedly died instantly, while the third died in the ambulance during emergency transport to the hospital.
