Businessman killed by hammer in the head, arrested a young man

Turned out in the investigation into the murder of an entrepreneur which took place on April 19 in Grumello del Monte, in the province of Bergamo. The carabinieri, at the first light of dawn, arrested a 22-year-old, believed to be responsible for the killing of Anselmo Campa, 56 years old. Until recently, the investigators explain, the young man had had a romantic relationship with a family member of the victim, it seems he was engaged to the 56-year-old's daughter.

The initial hypothesis, according to which Campa was killed during a theft that later degenerated, is therefore excluded. The weapon used for the crime was also recovered, a hammer, which the 22-year-old had hidden near the Oglio river. After providing his version and contradicting himself several times, the suspect confessed.

The businessman was found in a pool of blood and with a smashed skull.
