A 15-year-old was seriously injured following an accident at the Galliate amusement park, in the province of Novara, the attempts of the doctors to save her life proved useless. According to initial information, the girl was thrown from a carousel and fell heavily to the ground.
Rescuers were immediately taken, then the transport to the Maggiore hospital in Novara, in red code.
The episode took place on the first day of opening of the amusement park on the occasion of the patronal feast of San Giuseppe; the carabinieri and the local police are carrying out investigations to establish the dynamics.
