Bolzano, part of the courthouse collapses: three people inside, all unharmed.

This morning at dawn an important part of the Bolzano courthouse , a building dating back to the 20th century, collapsed .

A collapse that involved at least a quarter of the building , where renovation and expansion work was underway. The fire brigade is currently carrying out inspections.

"At the time of the collapse, there were only three people inside the Palace of Justice —three cleaners—only one was slightly scratched, but we can call it a miracle; it could have been a tragedy," said the president of the Court, Francesca Bortolotti.

"The load-bearing pillars in the area undergoing renovation work collapsed," he explains.

The Carabinieri and the prosecutor's office were also on site.
