Bolzano, flames at Alpitronic: airspace over the city closed

A very high column of black smoke hangs over Bolzano after the large fire that broke out in the Piani industrial area. The flames broke out in the Alpitronic factory, the world leader in charging stations for electric cars.

The airspace over the city was closed.

All the firefighters of Bolzano and the surrounding area are at work, including technicians from the Environment Agency.

"The situation is under control and the only precaution to take is to keep the windows closed in the vicinity", communicates the Municipality.
