Bologna: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy falls from a window and dies two days later in hospital.

The child, aged approximately one and a half years old, who fell from a second-floor window of a building on Via Ada Negri, in the Pilastro area of Bologna, died at the Maggiore Hospital in Bologna , where he had been hospitalized since Thursday evening.

According to the investigation, it was an accident: the child, who was at home with his 11-year-old sister and other adult relatives, to whom he had been entrusted by his parents, was probably playing near the window and after climbing up, fell at the back of the building , next to the garages.

He was immediately rescued and taken to hospital, where, after two days of treatment, doctors could only pronounce him dead.
