In Bari a family quarrel ended in stab wounds.

A 42-year-old, seriously injured by her husband's fury, paid the highest price. It happened last night in their home, from which the man - after the attack - escaped. However, the fugitive did not last long: he was arrested a few hours later by the police on charges of attempted aggravated murder.

His wife, who was hit by at least three stab wounds in the chest and has a lung injury , was rescued by 118 personnel and is now hospitalized in the Miulli hospital in Acquaviva. The prognosis remains confidential.

During an initial inspection of the couple's home, investigators recovered the weapon. The husband, a 54-year-old Albanian, was detained by the judicial police . The investigations are coordinated by the prosecutor Lanfranco Marazia of the Bari prosecutor's office.
