Bacterial infection: Two newborns die within hours in hospital
They were hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit

Two premature babies died within hours at Bolzano hospital. One died on Tuesday, the other on Wednesday night. Both were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital in the South Tyrolean capital.
The cause of the two deaths is believed to be a bacterial infection . The other young patients may be transferred to another ward to avoid contact with the bacteria.
