Sardinia also made the podium for the prestigious Ambassadors of Excellence award, presented yesterday during a ceremony in the Koch Hall of Palazzo Madama in Rome.
For the Island, awards were given to entrepreneur Massimo Balia and the mayor of Domus de Maria, Concetta Spada.
The ceremony celebrated personalities, public institutions, and entrepreneurs who have distinguished themselves through innovation, ethical commitment, and concrete contributions to the country's development, representing a virtuous model of Italy that creates value and strengthens its identity both nationally and internationally.
The event was held under the patronage of, among others, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, numerous ministries, and the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI).
