On 25 April he had escaped an anti-Camorra blitz. Yesterday Luigi Piscopo , 33, originally from Arzano, in the province of Naples, was arrested by the carabinieri while he was at the sea.

The military of the Castello di Cisterna Investigation Unit, disguised as harmless bathers, blocked him while he was in the company of his family in a beach in Baia Azzurra, in Sessa Aurunca, in the Caserta area.

According to the investigators, Piscopo is linked to the so-called "167" Camorra group of Arzano: he allegedly participated in an association aimed at drug dealing . In the operation of April 25, 27 people out of 29 were arrested, also believed to belong to the same criminal organization. Piscopo was the only one who missed the roll.

On May 21, the carabinieri also arrested the penultimate fugitive, Alterio Gennaro , tracked down in Vietri sul Mare, in the province of Salerno.
