A four-year-old Ukrainian girl living in the province of Rimini died yesterday morning at Infermi Hospital after a sudden deterioration in her health . The little girl had been taken to the pediatric emergency clinic at 9:30 PM on Friday evening due to a fever that had appeared around 6 PM , but without any other symptoms.

According to local newspapers Il Resto del Carlino and Corriere di Romagna, medical staff found her vital signs to be normal, along with normal cardiovascular, pulmonary, abdominal, and neurological function. Blood tests revealed no infections . Her fever dropped rapidly after the administration of paracetamol. The child was kept under observation for several hours and discharged at 12:43 a.m. in good general condition.

In the early hours of yesterday morning, her condition suddenly worsened. Her parents alerted the local emergency physician, and the little girl arrived at the emergency room at 6:35 a.m. The intensive care physician, pediatrician, and emergency room physician began resuscitation efforts, which continued for over an hour, but they could not save her.

All necessary medical tests will be carried out to determine the cause of death . The Rimini Public Prosecutor's Office may order an autopsy.
