A 27-year-old man died after falling from a third-floor B&B in Rome. His 25-year-old colleague was arrested on suspicion of murder .

Tragedy occurred late yesterday evening in Via San Calepodio, in the Monteverde area.

Initial investigations by investigators, who interviewed several witnesses inside the building, revealed that the two young men argued, and the 25-year-old pushed the other man onto the balcony, causing him to leap approximately 12 meters into the air . Rescue efforts were unsuccessful.

The two boys, both clerks in a shop in the centre, had rented a room in the building.

Upon their arrival, the Carabinieri immediately detained the 25-year-old, who was in a state of intoxication; he had not fled. After the interrogation, late at night, the prosecutor arrested him for murder. The Carabinieri are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the argument and reconstruct the exact circumstances of the victim's fall.
