The episode took place in Giussano, in the province of Monza and Brianza.
The soldier intervened after hearing the scream of the child's mother , a 39-year-old, who had inadvertently forgotten the keys in the car and who, after having placed the child on the seat, was locked out due to the automatic insertion of the safety .
When the carabiniere heard the woman ask for help, the child was already showing signs of suffering from the heat . The carabiniere used a stone and broke the glass.
Shortly after, other soldiers and 118 rescuers arrived, warned by passers-by.
The child was examined and did not report any consequences, the carabiniere reported injuries and cuts to the hand with a prognosis of 10 days .
