5.1 magnitude earthquake in Calabria, fear and people on the street

5.1 magnitude earthquake in the north-western Costa Calabra area (Cosenza) . This was communicated by Ingv.

The quake was recorded at 22.42 . The epicenter, according to the site of the National Institute of Geophysics, was located in the sea, off the coast of Scalea, at a depth of 286 kilometers .

Many people took to the streets but, according to what it was possible to detect, no damage was recorded.

The earthquake was felt not only in many centers of the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza, but along the entire Tyrrhenian belt and in some municipalities of the hinterland.
