The 39-year-old who set himself on fire in the street in via Luciano Manara this morning in Monza is hospitalized in very serious conditions at the Niguarda hospital in Milan. He has burns over a large part of his body.
The 118 health workers, firefighters and carabinieri intervened on the spot. At the moment it is not clear what is the reason behind the gesture. Psychiatric problems or a desperate attempt to draw attention to a dramatic situation are hypothesized.
