22-Year-Old Worker Stabbed in the Back by a Red-Hot Splinter, Dies

A 22-year-old worker from Vajont (Pordenone) died last night in an accident at work in Maniago.
The young man, around 1.30 am, was operating a machine for stamping industrial gears when a red-hot shrapnel pierced his back, killing him instantly.
The investigations are being conducted by the Carabinieri who have placed the plant under seizure.
