A 12-year-old girl stabbed a classmate in the courtyard in front of the school, ran away and then contacted the police.
It happened in the courtyard of a middle school, in a town on the outskirts of Rome. The boy, taken to the hospital, is not in serious condition.
It would seem that the gesture was linked to school disagreements. In particular, the girl justified herself by explaining that her classmate "told on me".
The Carabinieri have started investigations and have also seized the kitchen knife, with a
10cm blade, used for assault.
