In Riyadh, Milan beat Juventus 2-1 and reached the final of the Italian Super Cup, where they will face Inter on January 6. After the victory of Inzaghi's Nerazzurri, Conceiçao's men also punched the pass to dream of the highest step of the podium, winning 2-1 in a comeback against Juventus in the second semifinal.
The Rossoneri, one goal down at half-time (Yildiz's goal in the 21st minute), reacted forcefully in the second half: in the 71st minute they equalised thanks to a penalty won and converted by Pulisic, before taking the lead in the 75th minute with an own goal by Gatti following a harmless cross by Musah.
In the final minutes, Juventus attacked, with Gatti having a chance to make it 2-2 on his right foot in the 96th minute, but Gabbia saved the result by pushing it out for a corner.
