Good news for Sardinia.
If with the economic recovery, inflation has returned to be felt also in Italy, the island and Cagliari are at the bottom of the national ranking as regards price increases.
Istat has disclosed inflation data of the Regions, capitals and municipalities with more than 150 thousand inhabitants, on the basis of which the National Consumers Union has drawn up the ranking of the most expensive territories in Italy.
Sardinia is in 17th position, with increases of 3.4%; in fact, it has been calculated that a Sardinian family of four will have to face an annual price increase of 826 euros. An affordable figure if compared to that recorded in Trentino Alto Adige, where the annual increase is 1,359 euros (+ 3.5%).
As for the cities, Cagliari is in the lower part of the ranking, in 28th place out of 31, with an annual cost increase of 810 euros (+ 3.1%).
At the antipodes there is the case of Bolzano, with an outlay equal to almost double: 1,526 euros per year.
To do better than the Sardinian capital are Naples, Reggio Calabria and Ancora, the most virtuous city in Italy, with an inflation of 2.5%.
