In Golfo Aranci the Figari International Short Film Fest: 55 titles in competition

Everything is ready for the twelfth edition of the Figari International Short Film Fest, an appointment scheduled from 17 to 22 June in Golfo Aranci .
This year the event dedicated to film shorts and the audiovisual market will give space to 55 competing titles , from 26 countries , with special prizes dedicated to the best young Italian actors, and the presence of the main representatives of the world of the film industry.
The prizes will be awarded by an exceptional jury made up of Francesco Montanari, Giorgia Surina, Ema Stokholma, Le Perle di Pinna and Tess Masazza.
Among the special awards, the Beatrice Bracco award, to the best young actress of the year which this year will see Ludovica Martino as protagonist, interpreter in "Skam - Italia", "Il Campione" and "Security" by Peter Chelsom.
The communication award, awarded to those who during the calendar year distinguished themselves through the use of video as a tool, in fact, to communicate, returns for the occasion to be called the "Guglielmo Marconi Award" and will be awarded to Giancarlo Commare , well-known for his interpretations in "Skam - Italy", "Even more beautiful" and this year he starred in the theater with the musical "Jamie".
Among the most coveted awards, the Rai Cinema award and the France TV award, which will allow two short films to be purchased and then broadcast by the two broadcasters.
The 55 titles in the competition, divided into the five main sections of the competition (National, International, Animation, and Red Shoes), will be screened in evenings open to the public.
The first evening of the 17th will be held on the beach of Cala Sassari , the second evening of the 18th will be held in the splendid setting of Cala Moresca , while from the 19th the screenings will be on the Lungomare di Golfo Aranci . The sixth edition of the Figari International Short Film Market will also be held from 20 to 23 June, the event dedicated to professionals in the “short” film industry.
