The sounds of Sardinian tradition fly to Ciampino and enchant the public.

An event that has been repeated around Christmas for five years, a concert organized and promoted by the cultural association "Grazia Deledda APS di Ciampino", which has always been committed to the promotion and valorisation of Sardinian culture and tradition beyond the Tyrrhenian Sea .

Guests of the event were the Padentes choir, directed by Maestro Yvano Argiolas who brought his typical clothes and colors from Desulo, performing numerous songs from the Christmas tradition and beyond. A room packed with many Sardinians who emigrated to Lazio, but with their hearts always in the island, and with admirers and enthusiasts of Sardinia and its immense and varied culture.

There was no shortage of applause and attestations of esteem for the precious and enchanting performance of Elena Spanu of Escalaplano, just 18 years old, who thrilled and intrigued everyone present with the magical sound of the launeddas.

The evening was hosted by an unprecedented Alessandro Nocco from Gadoni - a DJ by passion - who gave space to numerous interventions of a historical and cultural nature in homage to the Island. The president of the association, Pierluigi Frigau, and his deputy Tonino Testoni say they are satisfied with the fifth edition of the event, the latest of many initiatives which always sees at the forefront the many Sardinian emigrants and the various friends from the "continent" who have approach the association in a spirit of collaboration and sharing.
