On the third day of round 2 of the A2 women's tennis team championship, Tc Cagliari beat Circolo Canottieri Aniene 4-0. "It was an important day for us, we are getting to know the different formations that we can field", explained the rossoblu captain Martin Vassallo Arguello in his analysis: "We lined up number 1 Nuria Brancaccio (who last time had played for 2) , Dalila Spiteri played for 2 and for me it was important, because I also knew this option. For the second time, Nuria and Barbara Dessolis played doubles together: it is important that they play together so that they can get to know each other as a couple ”.
Brancaccio's match lasted only 15, and the former Argentine pro comments: "We were sorry that the match was not played, because Raggi retired after one point: during the week she had hurt her ankle and this prevented us from seeing a good match on the Central ”. The victories of Spiteri (6-1, 5-7, 7-6 over Francesca Pace), Dessolis (6-2, 6-0 to Sofia Germani) and Brancaccio / Dessolis (6-1, 6-1 over Germani / Pace ) packed the 4-0.
“I'm glad enough people came, the partners. Already on Saturday the boys and girls of the school came to play with the players, then our agonists played with them and on Sunday they came to cheer. It is important for us that everyone here breathes tennis and the boys can see and understand what can happen in the future. Beyond the victory we are happy because we can live these experiences ”, concludes Vassallo Arguello.
