The "House of robotics" exhibition hosted until June 30 at the former Manifattura Tabacchi in Cagliari is enriched with a new humanoid robot , ready to meet visitors. His name is Amico and joins the others already on display among the stands of the event which registered a real boom in admissions, over 3,500 in a month, and great success even for school visits.

Amico, produced by Comau , is built entirely in aluminum and magnesium and considered “ a perfect machine for applications such as assembly, handling, sealing and all activities that require maximum precision and speed in small work spaces”.

Together with him are exhibited other jewels of robotics, such as Robothespian , the humanoid and talking robot created by Engineered Arts , ready to interact with the public.

Among the attractions also the immersive and interactive room , the possibility of using virtual reality viewers to interact with a robot and obviously an area dedicated to gaming with interactive games such as puzzles and memory and quizzes.

The exhibition, which has received the patronage of the Sardinia Region and the Municipality of Cagliari , is open in the morning from 9 to 14 and in the afternoon from 17 to 20.30. The closing day is Monday. On Saturdays and Sundays the opening hours are continued from 9 to 20.30.
