A career that cuts 40 years of activity in the name of the singer-songwriter. Humaniora celebrate the milestone tomorrow at 8:30 pm, in the Cineteatro Astra in Sassari. They will present the   CD “ Dominae. Women protagonists in the history of Sardinia ”.

The presentation is organized under the patronage of the Fondazione di Sardegna, the Associazione Ponti non muri and the Conference for Rights in the Mediterranean ETS , in collaboration with the Gruppo Emergency Sassari and the Associazione NoiDonne2005 which, with this concert, opens the celebrations for the twentieth anniversary of its foundation.

The evening offers a special cultural-concert experience offered by the HumaniorA Musical Laboratory with a sincere tribute in song format to some of the women protagonists of Sardinian history. There is History with a capital H, made immortal by figures such as Maria Lai, Grazia Deledda, Adelasia di Torres, Maria Carta . And then there are other small great stories, less known but emblematic of a plan for the future, hope, effort, courage such as those of Eva Mameli and Francesca Sanna Sulis . Or even lives lived that have become news in spite of themselves, stories passed down by chance that turn into legend, sad events to which to give, almost as a ransom from an adverse fate, a new and different ending. And so, even the stories with a lowercase h of Julia Carta, Antonia Mesina and Paska Devaddis enter the ranks of great History.

There will also be a tribute to Fabrizio De André : a medley of “Franziska”, “Hotel Supramonte” and “Monti di Mola” and the songs “Nte quesc-te che' gianche” and “Khorakhané” are dedicated to him. The issue of oppression and the madness of war will also be addressed with the song “Deserto di pietra”.
