Great boxing returns to Cagliari: Cappai vs Bernardin for the “Silver Youth WBC” World Championship
On December 16th, a great challenge between "featherweights" will see the 23-year-old from Quarto and the French boxer in the ring
Boxing that matters returns to Cagliari after 30 years.
The “Cagliari Boxing Night” event will be held on Saturday 16 December at the PalaPirastu in via Rockefeller, which will see, among others, the 23-year-old Patrick “Paky” Cappai from Quartia, undefeated and among the best European NextGen, enter the ring in a match that will see him opposed to the Frenchman Jeremy Bernardin. At stake is the WBC Silver Youth Featherweight World Championship.
«The island boasts a great tradition and great champions, so I am very happy to have managed to bring a boxing event back to Sardinia», comments the regional councilor for Tourism Gianni Chessa, on the occasion of the presentation of the event. An event which, Chessa underlines, has great "promotional value for this noble sporting discipline which boasts many enthusiasts both in Sardinia and in Italy".
