Two Northern League-led governors top the approval ratings for regional presidents. Alessandra Todde, representing Sardinia, is near the bottom of the list, according to a survey conducted by SWG and sent to ANSA.

In the lead, according to citizens, is Massimiliano Fedriga (Friuli Venezia Giulia) with 65%, up one percentage point from 2025, followed by Alberto Stefani of Veneto at 58%. The survey also shows that the top five positions include three presidents of southern regions. In third place is Roberto Occhiuto, President of Calabria, with 53% (up one percentage point from 2025), Antonio Decaro of Puglia is fourth at 51%, and Roberto Fico of Campania is fifth at 47%.

After the top five, Michele De Pascale (Emilia-Romagna) and Stefania Proietti (Umbria) are tied for sixth place, both at 45%, although the Umbrian governor has seen the sharpest drop compared to 2025, dropping eight points.

Following are Eugenio Giani (Tuscany) at 42% (-5%), Alberto Cirio (Piedmont) at 40% (-2%), Marco Bucci (Liguria) and Francesco Acquaroli (Marche) at 37%, with the Marche president stable compared to last year. Further behind are Attilio Fontana (Lombardy) at 35%, unchanged, and Marco Marsilio (Abruzzo), Alessandra Todde (Sardinia), and Vito Bardi (Basilicata), all at 33%, but with drops of 2, 4, and 6 points, respectively.

Francesco Rocca (Lazio) closes the ranking at 29% (-2) and Renato Schifani (Sicily) at 25%, stable compared to the previous survey.
