When the Christmas lights come on and the air smells of celebration, it is the music that truly warms the heart. And few melodies can evoke emotion and spirituality like gospel, with its powerful and strong voices and its rhythm capable of lighting up an entire community.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 18 December, at 7:30 pm in the Church of San Pietro Pascasio in Quartucciu (in via Tabarca), the Christmas atmosphere will be dressed in this magic with the concert of Kaylah Harvey & the Brooklyn Gospel Group, a free event organized by the Municipality of Quartucciu - Department of Culture - as part of the program "ViviAmo il Natale".

Kaylah Harvey, an emerging talent from the Bronx, brings with her the tradition of gospel, that musical genre born in African-American churches as a song of hope and freedom. Her crystalline voice, capable of touching the deepest chords of the soul, will lead the audience on a journey between traditional sounds and modern influences. Together with her group, Kaylah celebrates unity, faith and shared joy, authentic values that resonate with the true essence of Christmas.

"Thanks to the collaboration with Don Davide, who is hosting us, this evening will be an opportunity to experience a tradition that unites, warms hearts and makes the soul vibrate," comments the councilor for culture Elisabetta Contini.
