The agreement for the extraordinary redundancy fund for company crisis in favor of 527 workers of Portovesme Srl was signed this morning.
The agreement was signed by the regional Labor councilor Ada Lai, the company, Confindustria Southern Sardinia, the local trade union organizations and the company RSUs/RSAs.
«An important agreement that keeps workers safe. The Region has maintained its commitment to safeguard the income of workers and their families, while waiting for the company reorganization project to be defined", was the comment of the councillor.
The use of the CIGS will affect the entire company workforce in the plant on a rotation basis, for a maximum number of 475 workers per day and will have a duration of 12 months, starting from next October 25th.
