Wine, cabaret and music with fifteen Sardinian wineries on the splendid terrace overlooking the sea in Piazza del Novecentenario: on Saturday 24 August at 7 pm in Castelsardo comes “Giri di Vite” , an unmissable wine and cultural event to celebrate the summer with taste and fun.
The evening, hosted by Alberto Cocco, will kick off with a performance by actor Scaramella , who will entertain the audience with his scathing monologue. Then live music with the unique style of Chichimeca, capable of mixing rock, folk and traditional South American harmonies in an engaging and vibrant experience. And at the end of the evening, a DJ Set with Igino Coni to dance and toast under the stars. Special guest of the evening will be the well-known comedian Stefano Manca, who will present “Finché sorte non vi separi”, a hilarious “manual for aware separations”.
The initiative was born from an idea by Carlo Petretto and Max Turrini and is organized by the Sardinia E20 Association, thanks to the patronage of the City of Castelsardo, the Proloco association and the collaboration with Energie Rinnovabili Petretto of Sassari.
"When we talk about "Giri di Vite" - explain the organizers - we do not limit ourselves to evoking only the vineyards, the grapes and the wine, but also human lives. What we hope for this event is a real intertwining of existences: an opportunity to connect, exchange experiences and create significant human and professional bonds".
The protagonists of the taste will be the whites and reds of the territory, from Vermentino to Cannonau, from Bovale to Cagnulari to arrive at other native excellences such as Arvisionadu. The initiative is supported by Cantina Lepori Francesco, Cantina Vini TraMonti, Agricola Sotgia, Cantina Giovanni Camboni, Salvatore Chessa, Poderi Parpinello, Tenute Buniccu, Cantina del Bovale, Fattorie Isola, Cantina Arvisionadu, Tenute Pische, Cantina Murru, SinisWines.
