The first days of the Snail Festival saw a great participation of the public who, after two years of waiting, was able to participate in the conference on agri-food and the gastronomic festival "The golden snail".

The event, promoted by the Municipality and Pro loco, returns on Friday 14 October , from 3 to 4.30 pm with the Snail Race and, from 9.30 pm, with the ethnic-musical evening by Maestro Andrea Puddu, with Gianni Atzori, Jonathan della Marianna, Giusy Onnis, Gianluca Podda and the performance of folkloristic groups in the square.

Saturday, at 3 pm, the opening of the Agricultural Fair and the Fieralibri . Also scheduled in the afternoon is the inauguration of the Canaries Exhibition organized by the Sardinian Ornithological Association and the inauguration of the Shardana Beer Brothers, with live music, good street food and craft beers. At 4.30 pm the free tasting of snail-based specialties and the folk show in Piazza Umberto I and along the street of the party with the master Marcello Caredda.

This will be followed by the contemporary art exhibition " Antioco: the Saint who came from the sea " by Roberto Lai and the exhibition in three stages by the Flores Flamenco Company . In the evening the concert by Maria Giovanna Cherchi .
