The instruments of the Sardinian tradition such as launeddas, benas, accordions, drums, guitars, accordions come back to life in the "Sonorous Experience" project conceived by Produzioni Sardegna and presented today in Cagliari. Focused on the enhancement of the extraordinary collection of musical instruments kept in the rooms of the Costume Museum of Nuoro, managed by Isre, the regional ethnographic institute, revolves around a traveling exhibition .

208 the instruments exhibited along an interactive path in four locations: "Immersive reality", "Virtual tour", to access multimedia contents and deepen the knowledge of musical instruments, "Virtual Launeddas", to try their hand at this ancient instrument, " Postcards from Sardinia ", to admire the beauties of the island with the suggestions of its sounds.

"Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of parties, rites, processions, the drums of Shrove Thursday in Gavoi or the release of Mamuthones and Issohadores in Mamoiada, to listen to them and observe them in the contexts in which they still live today", explains Marco Lutzu, scientific director of the project.

Tours are planned in the schools of the main centers of the island, in addition to Cagliari and Sassari also Nuoro and Oristano.
