Giacomo De Mola and Magdalena Sart Bonin are the world champions of spearfishing at the end of the competitions that ended overnight in Arbatax. Between the tourist port and the Rocce Rosse square, the weighing operations of the fish caught by 21 delegations and 6 female formations that took part in the 32nd edition of the men's and women's spearfishing championship ended. Over 250 athletes who took part from 19 nations.

Already on Saturday, during the first day, Italy was in the lead with De Mola followed by the Spaniard Oscar Riera and the Croatian Stjepko Kesic. Leadership was confirmed yesterday.

In the women's field, however, Spain dominated with Sart Bonin, Alexandra Prat and Ainhoa Abellan Lopez.

The award ceremony, in the Rocce Rosse square, also saw the participation of the highest civil, military and administrative offices of the territory.
