Francesco Cuccuru from Banari to Rome: he will represent Sardinia in the national barman competition

It will be Francesco Cuccuru's turn to represent Sardinia at the next national competition Aibes – Italian Barmen and Supporters Association: the Banarese won the regional selection at the Felix hotel in Olbia.

In front of the national president Angelo Donnaloia, the councilor Rocco Bucco and a selected jury, over 30 competitors from all over the island challenged each other to detach the ticket for Rome, where the national phase will be held at the end of November.

Cuccuru, former bar manager of the Spirits Boutique – who also participated with Matteo Spanedda, third classified among the Junior Bartenders – was able to shine in the Bartender category, conquering first place overall and the pass for the Capital, where there is also a team competition in which the regional champion will team up with Laura Schirru and Giuseppe Malafronte, who finished second and third respectively at the Felix.

In the Junior Bartender category, Simone Saporitu from Orosei, in his first year in the association, prevailed; finally winner for the Flair the Arzachenese Giovanni Farina.

Great satisfaction expressed by the trustee Umberto Dacrema by the councilor Gavino Faedda, who at the end of the challenge wanted to thank the working group headed by Emilio Rocchino and the Felix staff for the support provided in the realization of a very special event for the section which more than 50 years promotes quality mixed drinks.
