Large majority in the House, a little more narrow in the Senate for the center-right.
This is what emerges from the data released by the Interior Ministry on the division into seats of the next Parliament after the elections that sanctioned the clear victory of the coalition led by Giorgia Meloni .
In Montecitorio the center-right wins 237 seats (the absolute majority is 201). This is followed by the center-left coalition with 84 seats , the 5 Star Movement gets 52 , then the Third Pole which will be able to count on 21 deputies .
The others: three seats go to the autonomists of the Sudtiroler Volkspartei , one each to the list of the former mayor of Messina Cateno De Luca , to the autonomists of Vallé d'Aoste , one to the Maie (Italian Movement Abroad).
At Palazzo Madama there are 115 seats for the center-right , with the absolute majority set at 101. The center-left follows with 44 senators , then the 5 Star Movement with 28 and the Third Pole with 9 .
Sudtiroler Volkspartei will also be able to count on two senators, one each for Cateno De Luca 's list and for Maie .
THE BREAKDOWN IN THE COALITIONS
This figure has yet to be fully clarified, given that it depends on who are the candidates in the single-member constituencies, where the center-right has made a full house by winning 180 out of 221 challenges between the Chamber and the Senate. With the paradox, for example, that the League could have more MPs from the Democratic Party despite 10 percentage points less .
In the center-right, in fact, the division of the colleges was made on the basis of polls, which a month ago gave Salvini's party much better percentages. And therefore many League candidates were elected uninominably thanks to the pull of the Brothers of Italy .
In the proportional to the Chamber, FdI wins 69 seats, the Lega 23, Forza Italia 22. In the center-left 57 seats for the Democratic Party, 11 for the Green-Left Alliance.
The data of the proportional to the Senate: 34 seats for Fratelli d'Italia, 13 for the Lega, 9 for Forza Italia, 31 for the center-left and 3 for Verdi-Left.
