On Saturday at the main entrance of the "Nespoli" stadium, on the occasion of the very delicate challenge between Olbia and the leaders Reggiana, on the penultimate day of the Serie C championship, fans will be able to admire the new commemorative plaque in memory of Bruno Nespoli.

The player - goalkeeper role - originally from San Sepolcro, who died in 1960 after a game accident with the white shirt and to whom the structure in via ungaria is named. Made of marble by a local craftsman , it was discovered this morning by the mayor of Olbia Settimo Nizzi in the presence of the manager of the whites Gian Renzo Bazzu and the children of the fourth and fifth elementary classes of the Santa Maria and Isticadeddu schools.

"We remember one of our players who was not from Olbia, but came here, falling in love with the city, and then dramatically died," said Nizzi, who was a club doctor from Olbia. "By abandoning the old plates we made a fool of ourselves, so, in agreement with Olbia Calcio, which uses the structure, we decided to create a new plate, which we want to uncover to give solemnity to the event".
