After four months of flights without the support of the public purse, Ita Airways and Volotea announce the early stop. Is it the fault of expensive fuel? Not only that, carriers are aiming to increase profits at a time when air traffic is already picking up.
The companies agreed to guarantee flights without financial compensation last March.
The service began in May. In these days, however, both Ita Airways and Volotea have announced their intention to renounce territorial continuity without compensation in February 2023.
