When the community participates in a cultural initiative that highlights traditions, success is guaranteed. And the response to "Feminos," the show presented in Sennori by the Il Lentischio association, was such that a second performance was scheduled for Sunday, again at the former Cava di Tufo, starting at 8:00 PM.

Maria Paola Cordella , who led the workshop, said: "Doing community theater is a challenge, and it was a stroke of luck to find such a welcoming community." Mayor Nicola Sassu said: "We are proud of this association, which carries on the tradition of the Sennorese dialect and makes it known to everyone."

"Feminos" is a choral performance centered on the Sennorese language, bringing the culture and voice of the town to the stage, keeping a tradition alive and giving the language a new way to be told and heard. The quarry has been transformed into a veritable house without walls, telling a story of women, rules, traditions, and conflicts, but above all, of self-determination and rebellion. There are 16 characters, 14 women and 2 men, who share different ways of living, thinking, and approaching life, giving shape to a story that speaks not only of women, but also of identity, territory, and community.

Also noteworthy is the contribution of Angela Pazzola , who supervised the linguistic research, the rewriting in Sennorese and the phonetics of the speech.

The production wanted to thank the volunteers who provided emergency service during the evening of September 5th: the kids from the Yes I Help – Sennori and Sorso project, trained in BLSD (emergency care and cardioprotection) of the SSD Albatros , a local organization committed to promoting sport and social planning aimed at people with disabilities, and the volunteers of MultiEmergenza for the ambulance service.
