The founder of the New Trolls Vittorio De Scalzi died at the age of 72.
The announcement was made on the Facebook page of the singer and guitarist: “Vittorio De Scalzi has left us, he has joined his Aldebaran. Thank you all for the love you have shown him all these years. Continue to sing at the top of your voice 'That evening caress', he will listen to you ”.
On Monday in Sanremo the farewell to the singer will be given in a secular form.
Born in Genoa in 1949, a rebellious and protesting soul who founded the New Trolls group at the end of the 1960s. Then also a soloist and songwriter, he was the author of performers such as Anna Oxa, Mina and Ornella Vanoni.
Married, he had among children: Alberto who is a rapper, Armanda and Alice, who died in 2005 at the age of thirty from a cerebral thrombosis.
