Farewell to the illusionist and television personality Tony Binarelli . The 81-year-old TV wizard died last night at the Sandro Pertini hospital in Rome after a long illness.

Born on September 16, 1940, in the 1970s he began to take part in various television broadcasts with his prestidigitation performances .

He was also an actor for Rai dramas, stunt double, consultant for the Sistina Theater in Rome for many theatrical productions and writer of several books. His hands in Terence Hill's famous poker game in "They Kept Calling Him Trinity".

Throughout his career he has received many national and international awards and recognitions . For his participation in Buona Domenica between 1991 and 1995 he won the Telegatto. It was also awarded in Monte Carlo (1998) and Las Vegas (2000).

In 2004 he organized the first Italian magical week at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. For over a decade he has dedicated himself to the training of young magicians with refresher courses in San Martino di Castrozza and Varazze.
