The actor and voice actor Enzo Garinei , brother of the playwright Pietro, died .

He was 96 years old .

In his long career he has participated in over 70 films and many theatrical comedies.

His debut in the cinema dates back to 1949 , in “ Totò le Mokò ”, and with Prince De Curtis, who was a master for him, he made several films.

In the light theater he has been the interpreter of numerous shows by Garinei and Giovannini, such as "Alleluja brava gente" and "Add a place at the table". In his career he has also covered roles in some television series , among others " Don Matteo " and " Io e la mamma ", with Delia Scala and Gerry Scotti.

The best-known character he dubbed is probably that of George Jefferson (played by Sherman Hemsley) in the sitcom "The Jeffersons", aired from 1975 to 1985. He is also the voice of Stan Laurel in some comedies and films.
