Farewell to Joe E. Tata , the unforgettable Nat from the 90s cult series Beverly Hills 90210 .

He was 85 years old and had long been ill with Alzheimer's .

The announcement comes from Ian Ziering , the Steve Sanders of the series.

"I remember seeing him in Rockford Files with James Garner years before we worked together," writes the actor on Instagram, accompanying the thought with a photo of his friend. “He often played one of the background villains in the original Batman series. It remains in my memory as one of the happiest people I have ever worked with, he was as generous with his wisdom as he was with his kindness ”.

“Even though the Peach Pit was just one set in the series - continues Ziering - it looked like the scene from the Joe E. Tata Show. In many scenes he could also stay in the background, but he was a leader , especially for us guys ”.
