Open to local, national and foreign artists, Ossi 's extemporaneous painting has by now become a classic event. On Sunday in the premises of Sa funtana Noa in via Serra the paintings of all the participating artists will be exhibited. Only one work for each artist. The first three classified will receive prizes of 700, 400 and 300 euros respectively .

"Every year the extemporaneous turns out to be a long-awaited appointment for artists and citizens who appreciate art - said the City Councilor for Culture Maria Laura Serra - Our invitation, as usual, extends to all those who want to participate as long as they are residents in Italy".

The works will be exhibited anonymously and must include on the back, in a sealed envelope, the personal details, address, title and quotation for eventual sale.

The announcement of the winning works and the award ceremony will take place from 5pm.

This year the extemporaneous painting has been included in the Open Monuments calendar.
